The Holy Spirit is calling His people to be faithful to His bidding ,now is the acceptable time to step up to the joy of being spiritually passionate about Jesus' calling upon your life and let us do His work together now!
King David had a passion for the House of God. In 1 Chronicles 29;3-5 ''Morever , because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God , I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house , my own special treasure of gold and silver; three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir and seven thousand talents of refined silver...........Who then is willing to consecrate themselves THIS DAY to the House of the Lord?" The Holy Spirit is asking you the same question today , He has your number, He has called your name and now HE needs your Holy Passion to be zealous for the House of God .
Spiritual Passion is expressed with love for Jesus, His people, His house , His perfect will. When you find yourself cooling towards the Lord there is a noticeable lack of hunger for hearing God's word, prayer, even worship becomes a dutiful chore . Today give to God the gold & siver of your life , just say YES! YES! YES! Who today has the courage to say WHATEVER, WHERVER, WHENEVER, JESUS??? I am afraid that mere rhetoric will not suffice for this calling, neither will a weekly routine offering , JESUS is wanting your whole passion to do His perfect will . Please stop playing games , get Holy, get with it , and then you can say I have The Holy Spirit on my mind. Then indeed we will make the advances we need to against the kingdom of darkness. Let The Holy Sprit set you ablaze with His glory and others will catch the flame of the Passion of Jesus!

THE HOLY SPIRIT'S BUILDING PROGRAMME
JOHN 15:111-4,16 Please read these critical verses , they very much emphasise that if we are to be used by God then we must remain, cling to, be in CHRIST,constantly on a every day basis, without exception. I wish to over these next few days highlight some critical factors when it comes to ongoing effectiveness/ leadership ,availability as the Lord Himself sees it.
1. Be secure in the your call , know that it is God who has called you- not man. Your responsibility is to be faithfully obedient to the calling of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 29:25
2. Keep sweet. Bitterness and cynacism will bring a spiritually cancerous ineffectiveness into your journey. In fact I believe unforgiveness and resentment will put a stanglhold on you present, future ministry . ROMANS 12:19, HEBREWS 12 :15.
3. Be strong & courageous. Joshua possessed the Promised land only after facing the obstacles which had to be overcome.(Joshua 1) Not every one surrounding you is a "VISIONARY ", many can only see the giant problems not the Holy Spirit possibilities. Don't let pessimistic, negative people rob you of the calling from Jesus upon your life.
4. Be a radical prayer warrior of the Lord , prayer must precede every decision that is made surrounding the present & future decisions of you life and the life of The Salvation Army.
For today I will finish with the Word of God : JOHN 15: 16 ''YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ME, BUT I CHOSE YOU AND APPOINTED YOU TO GO AND BEAR MUCH FRUIT ,FRUIT THAT WILL REMAIN. ....... THEN THE FATHER WILL GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME."

GET REAL, GET GOING, AND BE OBEDIENT TO JESUS
Obedience flows out of a Holy love relationship with Jesus. When you love Jesus more than your own life the debates, excuses, distractions, diversions are "HISTORY". It is Jesus perfect will , every way , every day !
Be encouraged to not lag behind any more , please get going with His will for your life, NOW!
Here are some Words from the WORD to keep you on track :
1.HAVE A PASSION FOR GOD , UNQUENCHABLE. Psalm 27:4 read it
2.Absolutely hate sin, Romans 12:9 'Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good'.
3.Hunger for the living Word : 1 Peter 2:2 "As newborn babies , desire the sincere milk of the
Word ,that you might grow up by it ."Stop behaving like a Spiritually immature baby!!
4.Burn bridges, and plan "B" . Luke 9:62 ''No person having put their hand to the plow, and continues to look back ,is fit for the Kingdom of God." WOW , really know that Jesus means this ,if you have been called to follow Him wherever, whenever , whatever , that is exactly what Jesus requires of you.
5. Avoid an independent, rebellious spirit . Symptoms of this spiritual disease can be : cynacism,
non-accountability, arrogance, wilfull disobedience to the known will of God, bitterness, complaining attitude,apathy etc, etc.....
6.Keep up the passion for God and continually offer yourself as a living sacrifice , wholly & pleasing to God. Romans 12 :1-2
7. Don't be led by most people , be on your knees listening to the Great Almighty God , it is to Him that you and I will have to give an account of what we were called to do and be , not what we wanted to do !!!!!!!
PRAYING FOR YOU ALL ........COME ON ..... LET US ALL DO THIS FOR JESUS!!!!!!

WITHOUT A SPECIFIC GOD GIVEN VISION PEOPLE PERISH
Proverbs 29:18 says :' 'WHERE THERE IS NO VISION THE PEOPLE PERISH, THOSE WHO KEEP THE LAW OF GOD , HAPPY , FORTUNATE AND ENVIABLE ARE THEY."Another translation says : " WHERE THERE IS NO VISION , PEOPLE CAST OFF RESTRAINT...'' If you don't live by a specific Holy Spirit inspired vision you will end up being controlled by life's challenges. Life cannot simply be about responding to problems , it must be about pursuing God's vision for your life in partnership with Him and others depending on where their prayer life is will either get it or sadly not. The key to a successful Kingdom order life is to prayerfully live , move and have your being in the places God requires you to be , and there are very few who are called to stay exactly where they are . The Gospel speaks of only one or two who after offering themselves, stayed , most went as Jesus required them to. The key dear readers is to live every day with a compelling VISION .... VISION....VISION. Buckle up, God has a vision for you today , please don't use the excuse I don't know what that is. If you were even in the Word for a short time you would know , I really think the challenge is more to be obedient to what the Spirit of God has already called you to do ! So are you going to be a VISIONARY or a stagnant pool . As for me I wish to be part of the answer and not the ongoing problem , how about you ?????Read it again in differing translations : ''WITHOUT PROPHECY PEOPLE BECOME DEMORALISED. WHERE THERE ARE NO GUIDELINES, THE PEOPLE RUN RIOT. WHERE THERE IS NO WORD FROM GOD, THE PEOPLE ARE UNCONTROLLED. WHERE THERE IS IGNORANCE OF GOD, THE PEOPLE RUN WILD. WHERE THERE IS NO VISION...VISION....VISION...PEOPLE PERISH. Jesus needs you to please be faithful !!!!

ALMOST!!!
As I contemplate Australian history made this week I reflect back to previous leadership of this country in recent years and other generations.
I never want to be known as someone who ALMOST did the right thing, I really want to have assigned to my life that I did as much as I could with the time I had for all the right reasons and that Jesus would be glorified by my life.
What about you ? What will your life be remembered for.........? How will you DASH count in ETERNITY? Almost is a sad word , when I think of the definition of this word I am taken in my mind and heart to Pilate.
Pilate ALMOST performed what would have been history's greatest act of mercy. He ALMOST pardoned the Prince Of Peace. He ALMOST released the Son of God, he ALMOST opted to acquit Jesus, ALMOST!!!!!He had the power, he had the choice, he wore the ring of significance.The option to forever be remembered throughout history as the judge who pardoned Jesus, ALMOST. The option to free God's Son was His.... and he ALMOST did, BUT he refused,tragically refused to be a great 'history maker' . Rather he is remembered as Pilate who washed his hands of God's business, washed his hands of choosing Jesus above everyone else , including his own position. Be very aware of settling for the ALMOST when it comes to being obedient to the voice of The Holy Spirit, actually, we are either obedient to Him or we are not. When it comes to God's Kingdom and Jesus' terms of Discipleship there is no room for ''ALMOST CHRISTIANITY." Read with me Proverbs 3:27-28 "Do not withold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so. Do not say to your neighbour, 'Go , and come back, and tomorrow I will give it "when you have it with you today.'' WOW!

SEIZING THE DAY WITH SPIRITUAL ENERGY FOR KINGDOM AFFAIRS
Today , like many other days I am encouraging people to give their lives to God's calling , claims and desires for their life!
As I look into people's faces I see and sense many things when the calling of Jesus is in our conversation. For some there is the issue of finance, for others it is 'comfort zones' , for others cynacism, unequal yoking , for many simply fear!
The Word of God says :''PERFECT LOVE (YES LOVE) CASTS OUT ALL ...ALL....ALL.... FEAR.''The wise person in the storm prays to God , not for safety from danger, but for deliverance from fear. It is the storm within that endangers us , not the storm without.
Please reflect upon this statement today :'Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small doesn't serve the world or Jesus. You are a child of God , fearfully and wonderfully made, if you doubt that, read Psalm 139 until you do actually believe these Words. And once having defined yourself by the onle measure that is pure truth , then get busy about casting out all fear and seize the day , today with zealous committment to Jesus 'call upon your life . For many this will be full time ministry within The Salvation Army , for many this means Officership!!!!
Come, change the world NOW!Whatever Jesus asks you to do , do it .

THE DEVOTION OF HEARING & HEEDING
MATTHEW 10:27 ''What I tell you in darkness, that speak in the light: and what you hear whispered in the ear , proclaim upon the housetops."
The destiny of my and may I suggest your spiritual life is such identification with Jesus , that I need to always hear God, and I know that God always hears us(John 11:41).You see the only qualification to speak words worthy of the Lord , is that I first have heard in that quiet, closet place, and having once heard His voice , been obedient to Him myself , I then am called to speak forth that which He has told me in the quiet place, the hidden place of PRAYER. Not only speak, but live , example all that is the grace & truth of Jesus Christ.
How goes your listening to Him ? Can you say with Samuel in 1 Samuel 3:10 ''Speak; for your servant is listening".
I believe what hinders many people from hearing the voice of Jesus , is that at times we are often too consumed with other aspects, concerns, challenges, choices of life and thus just busily go on not really being Holy Spirit led at all. And in doing so render ourselves inactive when it comes to the challenge of speaking out clearly what Jesus has spoken to us about in that quiet place. Today may you have the only appointment really worth having , with JESUS, and may having heard , then obey and speak forth that which He has called you to. He will not speak to you of thoughts in opposition to His Word , keep His word open to your heart!
May after hearing and heeding, your words be like 'THUNDER' , because your life is like 'HOLY LIGHTENING'. Jesus so longs for your affection and attention !

GOD HIMSELF IS TRYING TO SPEAK TO US
EXODUS 20:19 says: ''And they said to Moses , you speak to us, and we will listen, but let not God speak to us , lest we die."
I find this an incredible request , and absolutely astounding that anyone would not want to hear from the living God. And yet the sad truth is that is often still the case for many people today , there are so many who really refuse to listen to the voice of God when He is desperate to speak to all of us.
As I have thought and prayed long and hard about this , I have come to one or two thoughts on the matter.
Readers see what you think : 1. If this is really the voice of God speaking to me then I need to listen and obey, the obedience part really is a challenge for many.
2. If I can justify to myself that merely a human voice is speaking then I can simply say to my own heart ,that is that particular persons' opinion and thus I do not have to respond in any way.
Jesus said , "IF YOU LOVE ME , YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS"He also said in John 10:3 "...the sheep listen to His voice and they heed it, and He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. v4. When He has brought His own sheep out He walks on before them , and the sheep follow Him , because they know His voice."
Please don't fall into the trap of merely believing that only humans are speaking to you , pray that you may want to desperately hear the voice of God and when He speaks ,LISTEN & more importantly OBEY!
James 1:22-25 read it and please let Jesus have His way in your life, He loves you and will not lead you up a wrong path, love and respect Jesus enough to let Him have His way in your life , if indeed you call yourself a Disciple of Jesus Christ.

COME ,CHANGE THE WORLD NOW, NOW!!!!
Until the future of the world matters more to the church, than the future of the church ,then
the church has no future! What do you think??? Lost people matter to God and I want to do and be where He would be , every day ,every way, with myself out of the way !
I am called as many others are to love people the way Jesus loves them, to see people the way He sees them and to speak His life giving words as He would speak them to as many as I can , whilst I can, wherever I can.
When we love the people nobody else cares about , Jesus will bring the people everybody cares about,and I think that would mean REVIVAL for us as God's Army!!!!
Please give up your small ambitions and COME, CHANGE THE WORLD NOW , NOW , NOW!
You are needed!
