Any garden left to it's own devices will soon be a mess to be attended to , leaves on paths , weeds in spectacular flower arrangements, limbs of trees growing in all directions , I think we all know what I am describing.
This is also true of our spiritual life , emotional responses, intellectual processes, and physical being. All these areas of our lives left to their own devices can often have negative outcomes.
That is why we need a relationship with JESUS CHRIST .....LORD & SAVIOUR! Do you know JESUS as your LORD today ? He loves you and longs to live in your life , take up residence in your heart , renew your mind , refresh your physical being, heal any wounded emotions and most of all save you from a "CHRISTLESS ETERNITY."
For those who do know Jesus as Lord , here are some weeds you may wish to root out :
1. The weed of bitterness
2. The weed of hypocrisy
3. The weed of pharisaical attitudes
4. The thorns of racist thoughts/comments
5. The insidious invasive ivy of gossip, character assassination, judgmental responses.
6.The sad limp roots of apathy and non-committment ,which will destroy the whole plants of God's growth in your journey.
7. The poison ivy of constant complaining, grumbling, discontent, moodiness and sulkiness.
8. The tragic cancerous growth of "unforgiveness."
9. The sad presence of 'unholy arrogance', which by the way will infect other precious plants.
10. The lonely destructive weeds of self-pity and victim mentality.
Let JESUS set you free from yourself .....I allow Him to do that in my life daily , He is my SALVATION.....day by day by day .Remember 'REPENTANCE' isn't a dirty word , it will bring you to a 'GOOD PLACE IN GOD'.
Become good soil for God's growth in your life through His Son JESUS & by the power of The Holy Spirit!
