Our son Corey Turner speaks about his time of training in the Victorian Police Academy as being very useful to translate into spiritual warfare strategies . For example the police cadets were instructed to scream out :''FIRE'' , if they were in a dangerous situation with no back up. They were instructed to never call out ''HELP", because it was proven that no-one would respond to that particular word. Apart from the sadness of that truth the same is true in the spiritual realm if we really are in the battle zone of Spiritual Warfare , the great principle of calling out to God for ''HOLY FIRE''is a tremendous reality & resource that is available to those of us who know Jesus as Lord & Saviour. And today if you really need the presence of God in your life , can I suggest that you call on the name of Jesus and He will bring into your life 'HOLY FIRE', which heats up and eats up any sin and spiritual danger that you may be currently in. There have been many incidents in my journey as a Salvation Army Officer that I can honestly say when I have needed Holy Fire and immediate help from Jesus , He has always been faithful to my prayer. Last year I was in a incident that really was spiritually, physically dangerous & as I shot up to God my prayer , the Lord sent indeed Holy Fire which not only protected me , but made me bold
against what I can only describe was great forces of evil & darkness . You are not alone out there
and the Word is very clear about the power and protection of the Lord Jesus Christ: 2 CORINTHIANS 10 : 3-5 ''FOR THOUGH WE LIVE IN THE WORLD , WE DO NOT WAGE WAR AS THE WORLD DOES. v.4. THE WEAPONS WE FIGHT WITH ARE NOT THE WEAPONS OF THE WORLD . ON THE CONTRARY , THEY HAVE DIVINE POWER TO DEMOLISH STRONGHOLDS. v5. WE DEMOLISH ARGUMENTS & EVERY PRETENSION THAT SETS ITSELF UP AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD & WE TAKE CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT TO MAKE IT OBEDIENT TO CHRIST ."
By the way our son Corey is now a Pastor of an exceedingly exciting growing church, he has obeyed the call of God upon his life , what about you how goes the obedience to the calling from God upon your life ? If you need courage to obey call out for strength from Jesus & The Holy Spirit.......... the world needs HOLY FIRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be encouraged! Keep fighting hard and standing on the word of God. All I can say is preach it sister. I love your passion and you are quite right. We all need to be passionate Christians and realise our individual responsibility in changing our street, our community, our city, our world. If only people would come to know Jesus for themselves and understand the power of his transformation in their lives... then this would not be garbage no more. In fact the fire that would burn within them would then make sense.
We pray daily Pete and I for the wisdon to be passionate and faithful ambassadors for Jesus. we are all the body of the church we dont see our own bodies trying to dismember itself, instead if anything when our bodies are under attack and threatened other parts of the body sacrifice itself to maintain the life as a whole.
WE as Christians are individuals but fighting for one cause. We would be more effective if we all could join forces and fight as one.
