DON'T CALL FOR HELP ....CALL OUT LOUDLY FIRE!

Our son Corey Turner speaks about his time of training in the Victorian Police Academy as being very useful to translate into spiritual warfare strategies . For example the police cadets were instructed to scream out :''FIRE'' , if they were in a dangerous situation with no back up. They were instructed to never call out ''HELP", because it was proven that no-one would respond to that particular word. Apart from the sadness of that truth the same is true in the spiritual realm if we really are in the battle zone of Spiritual Warfare , the great principle of calling out to God for ''HOLY FIRE''is a tremendous reality & resource that is available to those of us who know Jesus as Lord & Saviour. And today if you really need the presence of God in your life , can I suggest that you call on the name of Jesus and He will bring into your life 'HOLY FIRE', which heats up and eats up any sin and spiritual danger that you may be currently in. There have been many incidents in my journey as a Salvation Army Officer that I can honestly say when I have needed Holy Fire and immediate help from Jesus , He has always been faithful to my prayer. Last year I was in a incident that really was spiritually, physically dangerous & as I shot up to God my prayer , the Lord sent indeed Holy Fire which not only protected me , but made me bold
against what I can only describe was great forces of evil & darkness . You are not alone out there
and the Word is very clear about the power and protection of the Lord Jesus Christ: 2 CORINTHIANS 10 : 3-5 ''FOR THOUGH WE LIVE IN THE WORLD , WE DO NOT WAGE WAR AS THE WORLD DOES. v.4. THE WEAPONS WE FIGHT WITH ARE NOT THE WEAPONS OF THE WORLD . ON THE CONTRARY , THEY HAVE DIVINE POWER TO DEMOLISH STRONGHOLDS. v5. WE DEMOLISH ARGUMENTS & EVERY PRETENSION THAT SETS ITSELF UP AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD & WE TAKE CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT TO MAKE IT OBEDIENT TO CHRIST ."
By the way our son Corey is now a Pastor of an exceedingly exciting growing church, he has obeyed the call of God upon his life , what about you how goes the obedience to the calling from God upon your life ? RECIPE FOR REVIVAL

Wouldn't it be wonderful if some of these incidents occurred in our midst, in our communities, in our churches & mostly in our lives.
1. Proclaiming a continual season(never-ending) of repentance for every area of our lives & every department in our churches. I can only imagine what could happen if we confessed continually our self_sufficiency and allowed The Holy Spirit to take control.Read PSALM51
2. Holiness lived out, spoken about, put into every aspect of every area in the areas I have already mentioned. In the Salvation Army context having people openly sharing about the 'SPIRIT FILLED'life & teaching the Doctrine of HOLINESS.
3. Hold a conference on how really to 'EXALT THE NAME OF JESUS'.
4.To really have everywhere the true presence of BLOOD & FIRE as an authentic reality , for those readers who don't know : BLOOD & FIRE is the motto of The Salvation Army and it means the cleansing blood of Jesus which saves our lives & restores our relationship with God through Jesus Christ .....read 1 JOHN 1:9. And also the Fire of The Holy Spirit is the presence of The Holy Spirit in our lives which is desperately needed in an angry, sad, lonely, lost world.

PAST REGRETS , PRESENT OPPORTUNITIES LOST ...SEIZE THE DAY, TODAY

Regretting the past has consequences other than lost days, months , maybe even years of what could have been. In my current appointment I am attempting to help people to respond to the promptings from God's Holy Spirit for the NOW in their lives , as I move around the Territory with my husband Len as one of the Territorial Candidates Secretaries I meet many people who speak to me about what could have been in their lives if only..............., a.If only they had said 'yes' to a great posssibility.
b. If only they had said 'no' to a destuctive relationship or a painful choice in their lives.
c. If only thay had a chance to do it over again.
The further I travel the more I hear from people who really need to share their story , regrets and 'wish lists'.
Today I wish to encourage my readers (If there are any ) that today is a new day & I believe and have proved it to be true in my own life ,that you never know what Jesus is going to do next.
You see I don't only believe in miracles I depend on them in my own life & I constantly seize every opportunity I can to make a positive difference for Jesus' sake in this world . I want to be part of His answer not the problem. How about you today ? How is life happening for you ? I do pray for so many people and whoever you are I want to encourage you to not become frozen or paralyzed on the ladder of your life. Jesus really does love you more than you will ever know and He has not passed you over , no matter how mature you may be. I encourage you to contemplate JEREMIAH 1:5 ''BEFORE I FORMED YOU IN THE WOMB I KNEW YOU , BEFORE YOU WERE BORN I SET YOU APART ; I APPOINTED YOU AS A PROPHET TO THE NATIONS.''
Please do not underestimate the power of God & do not ever think that it is too late for you to seize the day for Jesus' sake. If you knew even a small part of some of my challenges you would understand I am not sharing from an Ivory tower. In fact if you would like to share at any time I would be more than happy to do so .

PLEASE NOW IS THE TIME TO TRADE YOUR DREAMS FOR GOD'S DREAM FOR YOUR LIFE

NOW...NOW...NOW...IS THE TIME TO REALLY GET SERIOSLY OBEDIENT TO THE LOVE , CALL & PASSION OF JESUS! Whilst Len & I were away it seemed that the Lord was repeating in various places & through different (unconnected ) people the same messages. One in particular was that Jesus is coming again and these Officers & Pastors that we heard publicly preaching with passion & urgency were urging their listeners to : 1. Be spiritually ready to meet Jesus.
2. To be willing to obey the Lord NOW , when He speaks into our lives.
3. To deal with any area of our lives that requires repentance.
4. To not be arrogant about our dwarfed goals , rather look unto Jesus and become activated , energised about His goals for this world.
COME, CHANGE THE WORLD NOW is an urgent plea from The Holy Spirit to the church, today. The Salvation Army needs appointed , anointed, called , holy , obedient, innovative Officers who will lead God's people into the next decades of history. Please understand that you are needed now. Not in two years time, not in five years time .......rather now!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was asked recently how many candidates are needed to fill the needs of ministry within this TERRITORY , and I was compelled to respond with this answer : "if there were 100 Cadets going into training every year , it would not be enough to make advances into the kingdom of darkness , in order to be victorious for God's Kingdom.
Jesus is coming back , please do not hesitate in the valley of 'INDECISION', about going forward in loving faith and zealous ,humble obedience to the call of Jesus.
Read Matthew 24 and be open to the Lord's voice. Established leaders please encourage God's people that you are entrusted with to Dream Big and obey swiftly the Lord Jesus , as He calls each one of us to GIVE UP OUR SMALL AMBITIONS, & COME, CHANGE THE WORLD......NOW!!!!!!!!!In case you are in doubt just read todays newspaper or watch this days news.We are living in a fractured world, are we not?

DIVE INTO THE DEPTH OF GOD'S PERFECT WILL

I listen to alot of Christian music and have many favourites, I particularly am drawn to Jesus focused songs , and similarly songs that speak about radical Discipleship. Casting crowns is a contemporary group that sing many songs of Worshipful challenge and one I have been replaying lately is a song called ''SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE''. The chorus says ;''FEARLESS WARRIORS IN A PICKET FENCE, RECKLESS ABANDON WRAPPED IN COMMON SENSE -DEEP WATER FAITH IN THE SHALLOW END AND WE ARE CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE -WITH EYES WIDE OPEN TO THE DIFFERENCES, THE GOD WE WANT AND THE GOD WHO IS. BUT WILL WE TRADE OUR DREAMS FOR HIS OR ARE WE CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE.Just pause enough to read those lines again , perhaps you know this song , perhaps we might know more the experience of : The God we WANT & the God Who IS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess like the song challenges us to do , are we prepared to trade OUR dreams for HIS or are we caught in the middle? Today if you are caught , or unsure about choosing to live your life utterly & completely for Jesus & God's Kingdom then can I urge you to choose Jesus' perfect will for your life and don't settle for playing in the shallows of RELIGION. Yes ,religion is significantly different to DISCIPLESHIP. And to any reader who may not even know Jesus as Lord and Saviour , today I want to tell you a very well known Word from the Bible :'' FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD (including you) THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON (JESUS), THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.v.17 says: ''FOR GOD DID NOT SEND HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD, BUT TO SAVE THE WORLD THROUGH HIM(JESUS)."These verses come from John chapter 3 : 16-17. Wherever you find yourself today I pray that you don't sell out to being caught in the valley of indecision, or as the song says .........CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE. I have to lovingly say that it is a spiritually dangerous place to reside, sooner or later you have to choose, I pray you choose Jesus & His call upon your life.

SECURITY IN JESUS RELEASES SERVANT HEARTS part 2

The references I was referring to in previous post was located in JOHN Chapter 13 . Worth reading through the whole chapter if you would like a reminder of what Servanthood is all about.
I need to regularly remember that I am called to be a servant of JESUS above all! How precious is the love & grace of God to us today!!

SECURITY IN JESUS RELEASES SERVANT HEARTS

The Word of God is very powerful and when one speaks God's Word people make choices!! For example if you were to read Isaiah 55: 10-11: ''AS THE RAIN AND THE SNOW COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN,& DO NOT RETURN TO IT WITHOUT WATERING THE EARTH......& SO IS MY WORD THAT GOES OUT FROM MY MOUTH:IT WILL NOT RETURN TO ME EMPTY, BUT WILL ACCOMPLISH WHAT I DESIRE & ACHIEVE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH I SENT IT."My point being that when JESUS was teaching what it means to serve ,in JOHN 13:1-17 that is what He meant, we are all called to be servants for the CAUSE OF CHRIST , feel free to intellectualise these words of Jesus anyway you can , a SERVANT obeys that which their master requires. And thus the Word of the Lord is : v.15''I(JESUS) HAVE SET YOU AN EXAMPLE THAT YOU SHOULD DO AS I(JESUS) HAVE DONE FOR YOU. v.16 I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, NO SERVANT IS GREATER THAN HIS MASTER , NOR IS A MESSENGER GREATER THAN THE ONE WHO SENT HIM. V.17 NOW THAT YOU KNOW THESE THINGS, YOU WILL BE BLESSED IF YOU DO...DO...DO..THEM." The pharisees found Jesus ' words offensive , sadly people still react the same way today! Please know that you are invited to be secure in the loving arms of JESUS as you respond to His Calling upon your life! SECURITY IN JESUS RELEASES SERVANT HEARTS. SELAH !!!!!!!!!!!!

To all readers today a Word from God's Word ..... perhaps there will be fertile soil with hearts open to receive . Galatians 2:19-21"FOR THROUGH THE LAW I DIED TO THE LAW SO THAT I MIGHT LIVE FOR GOD. v.20 I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST & I NO LONGER LIVE, BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME. THE LIFE I LIVE IN THE BODY , I LIVE BY FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME.v.21 I DO NOT SET ASIDE THE GRACE OF GOD, FOR IF RIGHTEOUSNESS COULD BE GAINED THROUGH THE LAW, CHRIST DIED FOR NOTHING."His designs , not mine! His will not my self-justification, His tight & right life I hunger for , not religious self-righteousness. If I / you don't deal with death to self the consequences are great , the stakes are high, people will not benefit from your ministry , rather they will at the very best hear our fleshly opinions. And as a Disciple of Jesus others are longing to see , hear , feel, think JESUS.....JESUS......JESUS! If this is offensive to you , I can only pray that Jesus' love will overwhelm you to the point that you choose to run to the Cross and pray for mercy from the gracious love of Jesus. God will not force you to be His person or do His will , He is an awesome respecter of Human will. The Lord will never bless us beyond our consent given to Him. As we approach Pentecost , the coming of The Holy Spirit upon the earth , I want Holy fire to heat up & eat up any sin in my life , so that I am fit for the Masters' use . ATTITUDE DETERMINES ALTITUDE

Well....well...well it seems that there has been some interesting comments appearing whilst I have been away and to ANON.... all I can say to you is that Jesus loves you so much, secondly to others the power of the name of JESUS , the fire of The Holy Spirit and the grace of God the Father is more than enough to handle any opposition to the advancement of the KINGDOM OF GOD. Yes I am back , so full of the blessing of the Lord and ready to roll with this next season of ministry.I sensed that there would be spiritual war as we returned from such a reviving time and of course the enemy of our souls is busy in people's minds, and hearts. I want to encourage all who are God chasers .... keep chasing Him , His Word, His will , His purpose , His power , His death & Resurrection life . All around this earth lines are being drawn up and people are either pressing into JESUS LOVE, HIS LIFE , HIS WORD or there is the other choices of proud, passionate paid up paganism, or just doing the "religious thing".As for me I choose to continue being everything I am called to be (whether others understand or not ), I will not , indeed cannot back down , back off or cool off from the presence of God's Holy fire.I am secure in Him and I am called to speak up and out HIS WORD , whatever response comes. Like the disciples on the Emmaus rd. I pray to have a Word washed mind and a burning heart as I walk and listen to the voice of Jesus. I heard many wonderful sermons whilst being away, about Jesus second coming and I long that all may be ready to meet Him , face to face when we either go to be with Him or when He comes back to this earth.
I will leave you today with God's word O. Testament Joseph in Genesis chapters 39 to 47 read it (do yourself a favour), now there is a man after
God's own heart who gave up small mindedness and changed the world he lived in at that time , despite hate , ridicule , jealousy, hatred, temptation, misunderstanding etc...etc... If you can honestly say you have been as faithful I would love to hear from you . In God's view if we are in Him then we are secure servants who do (incarnationally ) CHANGE THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is no time for small , petty, miniscule , pontificating or thinking . Please for Jesus' sake just obey His voice , oh, by the way read His word and pray Psalm 51 then you will understand others. More importantly the sense of URGENCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
