If Jesus is truly Lord of your life .....you will live a life that is distinctly different to most other people, simply because you choose to allow Jesus to be Lord & Saviour of your life. There is a wonderful joy and a great responsibility to saying , living, breathing, the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life!
True Discipleship and authentic Christianity is not for the faint -hearted....Matthew 8:18-22 for example reveals people who were quick to respond to the call of Jesus upon their lives but as you read through this text JESUS is quite quick to respond with His terms of Discipleship not any one particular individuals interpretation of what is required to happen in the spiritual , emotional & even physical realm and definition of Jesus' call on your life & mine. It really is God's way through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ that is the HIGHWAY and as people of God we are required to meet the standards that have been put into place , if we are called to be Christians ......authentic Disciples of Jesus. This is not rocket science friends .....simply we are called into humble repentance of sin & self......if JESUS is precisely Lord & Saviour. Paul says in Galatians 2:20 '' I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST. IT IS NO LONGER I WHO LIVE, BUT CHRIST WHO LIVES IN ME. AND THE LIFE I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME."
Jesus loves you so much that He calls you to deny yourself , take up your cross & follow Him ....do it today!
Jesus is either Lord of all or not Lord at all !
