The calling of JESUS is compelling , constant , wonderfully urgent and for you to hear . If you are reading this today please pray about the possibility , ( in fact the probability) that JESUS has called you to much more than you are actually doing right now. As I move around the Territory I am amazed , that Jesus is calling so many people to OFFICERSHIP , SOLDIERSHIP, & generally MINISTRY ........and yet there are so many resisting His divine mission for their lives.
I am really imploring all of you to consider the consequences of either being outright disobedient, or making excuses for what you know to be true in your own hearts . Please for JESUS' SAKE , for a lost world's sake, for the future of The Salvation Army's sake just say :'YES JESUS', whatever , whenever , wherever! If you are fortunate enough to have Officers leading you at a Corps level , if you are blessed enough to have Divisional Officers that serve your divisions then be grateful and encourage , bless & honour these people who have had the courage of their convictions and said :"YES" to JESUS. Now project your thoughts into the next five years and ask yourself who exactly will take these OFFICER'S place ? If not you WHO?And if not now WHEN? I know absolutely for sure that there are people that God has called and I feel really sad for both you and the future of God's Kingdom within The Salvation Army if you don't respond quickly with a loving : ''YES LORD." This is a prayerpacked plea to "GIVE UP YOUR SMALL AMBITIONS , & COME, (for Jesus' sake ) and CHANGE THE WORLD. If I had a thousand lives I would devote them all to the Gospel of Jesus Christ & the mission of God's Army of warriors ......plundering hell to populate HEAVEN.
What about it people ? Stop pretending that someone else can do it , look at what Jesus has placed in your life and use it for His glory.
TODAY READ JOHN 6:60-69 it will strengthen your spiritual fortitude ~!
