If Jesus is truly Lord of your life .....you will live a life that is distinctly different to most other people, simply because you choose to allow Jesus to be Lord & Saviour of your life. There is a wonderful joy and a great responsibility to saying , living, breathing, the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life!
True Discipleship and authentic Christianity is not for the faint -hearted....Matthew 8:18-22 for example reveals people who were quick to respond to the call of Jesus upon their lives but as you read through this text JESUS is quite quick to respond with His terms of Discipleship not any one particular individuals interpretation of what is required to happen in the spiritual , emotional & even physical realm and definition of Jesus' call on your life & mine. It really is God's way through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ that is the HIGHWAY and as people of God we are required to meet the standards that have been put into place , if we are called to be Christians ......authentic Disciples of Jesus. This is not rocket science friends .....simply we are called into humble repentance of sin & self......if JESUS is precisely Lord & Saviour. Paul says in Galatians 2:20 '' I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST. IT IS NO LONGER I WHO LIVE, BUT CHRIST WHO LIVES IN ME. AND THE LIFE I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME."
Jesus loves you so much that He calls you to deny yourself , take up your cross & follow Him ....do it today!
Jesus is either Lord of all or not Lord at all !

HEAR THE CALLING OF JESUS TO "COME FOLLOW ME"
The calling of JESUS is compelling , constant , wonderfully urgent and for you to hear . If you are reading this today please pray about the possibility , ( in fact the probability) that JESUS has called you to much more than you are actually doing right now. As I move around the Territory I am amazed , that Jesus is calling so many people to OFFICERSHIP , SOLDIERSHIP, & generally MINISTRY ........and yet there are so many resisting His divine mission for their lives.
I am really imploring all of you to consider the consequences of either being outright disobedient, or making excuses for what you know to be true in your own hearts . Please for JESUS' SAKE , for a lost world's sake, for the future of The Salvation Army's sake just say :'YES JESUS', whatever , whenever , wherever! If you are fortunate enough to have Officers leading you at a Corps level , if you are blessed enough to have Divisional Officers that serve your divisions then be grateful and encourage , bless & honour these people who have had the courage of their convictions and said :"YES" to JESUS. Now project your thoughts into the next five years and ask yourself who exactly will take these OFFICER'S place ? If not you WHO?And if not now WHEN? I know absolutely for sure that there are people that God has called and I feel really sad for both you and the future of God's Kingdom within The Salvation Army if you don't respond quickly with a loving : ''YES LORD." This is a prayerpacked plea to "GIVE UP YOUR SMALL AMBITIONS , & COME, (for Jesus' sake ) and CHANGE THE WORLD. If I had a thousand lives I would devote them all to the Gospel of Jesus Christ & the mission of God's Army of warriors ......plundering hell to populate HEAVEN.
What about it people ? Stop pretending that someone else can do it , look at what Jesus has placed in your life and use it for His glory.
TODAY READ JOHN 6:60-69 it will strengthen your spiritual fortitude ~!

WANTING....WAITING...WAVERING....WAVE OF REVIVAL
Which category would you place yourself ?
WANTING ......more & more of this world & it's seductive trinkets, 1 John 2:15-17 says :''Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world-wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important - has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from Him. The world & all it's wanting, wanting, wanting, is on the way out- BUT whoever does what God wants is set for ETERNITY."
Are you WAITING ? Waiting for Jesus to zap you or call you audibly to "COME , CHANGE THE WORLD." Actually Jesus has already sent you that email , facebook message , letter , or text , it is found in MATTHEW 28 :16-20. And now He is WAITING ...WAITING... WAITING ....for your obedience to get with His Kingdom business . So stop waiting for the lightening bolt & start saying :"YES JESUS , I WILL FOLLOW YOU ALL THE WAY", & there is absolutely no doubt there are so may who are called to be Officers.....GOD IS WAITING FOR YOU TO SAY "YES".
Are you WAVERING ? Maybe you have made a commitment to Jesus & have strayed from that ......please stop turn back to HIM , He is waiting with open loving arms.Read Hebrews 12:1-4.....stop wavering & start looking to JESUS.
Finally the world , the church , all communities , families ,you & I need constant HOLY SPIRIT REVIVAL NOW ........if you don't feel passionate about that just take a look around & see where we are spiralling down into . Take a read of MATTHEW 24 ....you could be reading today's newspaper.

JESUS WILL ALWAYS BE MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR EVERY SEASON
When I share some of the challenges that I have experienced in my journey of faith , people often reflect back negativity. This I find difficult to understand simply because just live long enough & challenges come, even more so when you are really committed to the cause of JESUS CHRIST. The Word tells us : Ephesians 6 :11-12"Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. v.12 ''For our struggle is not against flesh & blood , but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Firstly it is often one's reaction to the challenge that can either become liberating or destructive, secondly if you are a Christian understand the authority you have in the Name of JESUS ......and the weapons of our warfare as we fight against injustice , sin and selfish pursuits. THE SADDEST PERSON IN THE WORLD IS PHYSICAL SIGHT WITH NO VISION

A POSITIVE ATTITUDE IS NOT A DESTINATION. IT IS A WAY OF LIFE.
START EVERY DAY WITH A POSITIVE WORD FROM THE LORD JESUS.
THERE ARE TWO WAYS OF MEETING DIFFICULTIES . YOU ALTER THE DIFFICULTIES OR YOU ALTER YOURSELF TO MEET THEM.
GRACIOUSNESS IN THE MIDST OF CRITICISM & CHALLENGES DOESN'T FLASH ,IT GLOWS WITH THE GLORY OF GOD!
ENTHUSIASM FINDS THE OPPORTUNITIES , & ENERGY MAKES THE MOST OF THEM.
OUR LIVES ARE A REFLECTION OF OUR RESPONSES OR REACTIONS TO WHAT HAPPENS TO US EACH & EVERY DAY.

THE BATTLE IS ALREADY WON.....STAY WITH THE CHAMPION
The battle of good verses evil IS won! You may have thought it was won on Golgotha, you may have thought the whole sign of an empty tomb is the total victory. The final battle was won in the garden of Gethsemane......when JESUS looked satan and evil in the eye and crushed the enemy's head!
How thankful I am that JESUS would rather desend into hell for a dying world than go to heaven without anyone of us .
If you haven't accepted JESUS as your Lord & Saviour you really don't know what you are playing with.......actually this is no game this is for ETERNITY!
Today JESUS loves you and calls you to HIMSELF.... why not respond , ETERNITY MATTERS.
MATTHEW 26:42"HE WENT AWAY A SECOND TIME & PRAYED ,"MY FATHER , IF IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THIS CUP TO BE TAKEN AWAY UNLESS I DRINK IT, MAY YOUR WILL BE DONE.''
