THE POWER OF JESUS IS PRESENT TO HEAL

Take time to reflect upon Luke 5:17-26 -The story of the healing of the paralytic. In verse 17b it is recorded as ...'the power of the Lord is present to heal......'I believe in our society that is a message that needs promotion . Jesus 'power is present to heal , there is so much brokenness & wounded spirits  that need to experience the healing touch of Jesus .The sad issue in the Luke account was that the 4 stretcher bearers could not get their paralysed friend to Jesus , basically because the Pharisees and religious leaders were blocking the doorway . Thank the Lord that they were determined to get their friend to Jesus and were not put off in any way . There are many people who are paralysed in body , mind and spirit , do you know some of them .             God is calling His people to be stretcher bearers for the Kingdom of God .   Please hear clearly and obey boldly when God's Spirit brings people's names and faces to you as you pray . Take time to reflect again upon this reading and ask Jesus how to bring these people to His feet .Praying for you as you obey .

WHAT KIND OF DISCIPLES ARE YOU PERSONALLY MAKING &WHAT KIND OF DISCIPLES IS YOUR CHURCH MAKING ? ... think about it

I often ask myself this question ( amongst many others). Every individual Christian and Christian community embodies a gospel ,the question is .. is it The Gospel that Jesus preached , lived & died for ?
When Jesus called / calls us to in Matthew 28:18-20 , highlighting verse 19 "Go therefore & make Disciples of all nations , baptizing them in the name of the Father & of the Son & of the Holy Spirit ,v.20 teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you ... "
He was commanding us to make in His name for His glory full Gospel disciples according to the true Lord Jesus.  
For Jesus, the Gospels reveal His definition of Discipleship : a person marked by Holiness , someone who is captivated by the Kingdom of God and passionate about seeing God's Kingdom
come to earth . Relentless love is a non-negotiable mark of all  authentic Disciples of Jesus Christ , radical , palpable passion for God ,  prayer , & integrity flow forth out of Disciples of Jesus .
Justice , mercy , compassion , lost for the unloved , rejected , and marginalised are conspicuous  by the very presence are a daily awareness that is ALWAYS producing fruit of obedience .
A servant's attitude is authentically present even when the said Disciple is often unexpected .

Transparent Disciples of Jesus die to themselves daily , hourly ( if required) and  give Jesus the throne of their lives .

So how goes your journey of Discipleship ??? Let Jesus show you His glory as you live for Him .
