OFFENSES WILL COME ...JESUS SAID IT !

What do you do , how do you react or respond when offenses come your way or even more than that when they are explicitly hurled in your face ?????

 A culture of OFFENSE will reveal ALOT about who you are & maybe  who you ARE NOT in JESUS , think about it .            It isn't the kick that creates the content it merely reveals what is inside , that line for me is very challenging , because there have been many times I have received a "kick" and have not  responded with the Grace & Truth that Jesus calls me to , how about you ????
An ungracious culture often repels anyone looking from outside , it is smelled , felt and caught by osmosis . The more influence you have the more you will define CULTURE , a little like the cities infect  and affect  for better or worse   the surrounding suburbs and regional towns.

Be aware that you ( if in any leader capacity) are being watched , and your finest hours maybe when offenses come your way ... for it is in those moments you and I will reveal WHO we really are , and how well we display the fruit of God's Holy Spirit ( Galatians 5 .... read it again today ).

JESUS gave us the message that offenses WILL come not IF .... so gird your spiritual & emotional loins, keep dying to your carnal nature and ( in love ) keep getting over YOURSELF.   Ask JESUS for His scandalous grace for any and every moment of your day .

BE THE VOICE FOR JESUS

Christians that obey .+.. act .+.. GROW . Churches that obey Jesus' call .+.. act ..+.. GROW.Anyone who has done things  to change the World did them when nobody thought it was  the right time , when the advice was to wait for better conditions. BUT these Spirit directed people acted and changed the conditions ... when God said , not man .

This is how REVIVAL starts - someone ... some humble , passionate person says I have prayed .. waited ... prayed .. & waited & now I am ACTING ON PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL !!!!

Today Jesus Himself calls you to act as His Holy Spirit empowers you , stop waiting ... stop procrastinating ... JESUS has said it ... now by His grace HEAR CLEARLY & OBEY BOLDLY .


Praying for all my readers today that you may hear God's Word to you .... very specifically .

READ TODAY JESUS' WORDS : JOHN 1:23 ''He said :'I am The Voice of one crying in the wilderness :''Make straight the way of The Lord," as the prophet Isaiah said ."

BE THE VOICE FOR JESUS ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE YOU CAN , STOP PRESSING THE SNOOZE BUTTON .

FAITH THAT REFUSES TO BE TESTED ..WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT IN TRUST

With Easter just a breathe away & still the orthodox celebrations to come remember what it took JESUS physically , emotionally & spiritually to claim your SALVATION.
Some succinct thoughts for you today :
.KEEP FALLING IN LOVE WITH JESUS THE REVIVER , NOT REVIVAL.
.KEEP YOUR CALLING MINISTRY ... NOT"woe is ME misery"
.KEEP SERVING JESUS ... NOT YOURSELF.
.STAY FIXED UPON HIM & NOT ON YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES .
.HAVE SOME COURAGE TO MATCH YOUR CONVICTION .
.DENY YOURSELF ... JESUS DID & IN THAT WAS VICTORY.
.UNDERSTAND THIS IS SPIRITUAL WAR ...NOT COUNTRY -CLUB CHRISTIANITY.
.STOP LEADING FROM  A SELF PERPETUATING WOUNDED SPIRIT ..... LEAD FROM A SURRENDERED HEART.
. JESUS IS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ... LIVE LIKE YOU BELIEVE IT .
. PRAY ...PRAY MORE ...PRAY EVEN MORE & OBEY WHAT YOU HEAR .

Today Love JESUS more than your life & watch Him do amazing things in your midst .

A REFLECTION FOR JESUS ...THE CRUCIFIED ONE, FOR YOU AND I

Truth & glory can only be found in the CROSS & BLOOD of JESUS, it is in the crucified Christ that we see you God , the One who suffers with His people .
It is the CROSS & your BLOOD  which shows us that there is nothing you will not face , will not endure at the hands of your own people.BUT
JESUS on the Cross & His shed BLOOD reveals not only you: but also we see ourselves for what we really are .
JUDAS: for whom money is more important than any relationship , perhaps the zealot who hopes to force Jesus' hand and manipulate Him into supporting his own theology.

CAIAPHAS :with his impeccable political & ecclesiastical logic that it is better for one man to die for the people.

PILATE: a victim of circumstance- on the opposite side of the debate to Caiaphas
but playing the same rules ; SOMEONE'S HEAD MUST ROLL...IF NOT THAT OF JESUS , IT WILL BE HIS OWN .

PETER: with his inappropriate self-confidence.

THE CROWD : in it's mindless thirst for blood.

THE CENTURION: who admired from a distance .

THE DISCIPLES : who ran away .

God of JESUS , we are all there , we are all part of JESUS' PASSION , there is  apart in all of us which still says that the safest response to a surprising God is to remove you from our lives , whilst we have a chance .
To get rid of you so we can have the security of our preferred politics, cosy religion, positions of power.

JESUS , help us to face the truth that our sin is more complicated , more insidious, more devastating than we ever could believe.And however, we or the world minimises this sin ...IT TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD TO SAVE US !!!!!

Your GRACE ... your BLOOD... your CROSS ....your LOVE .... your PASSION for us to be RESCUED & SAVED is far more superior than any of our sad & pathetic excuses.

Cleanse us today, fill us today with forgiveness and SALVATION.
