We live in an environment that tells us that we must constantly buy things we really don't need with money we don't have to impress people who really actually don't care. This kind of puts most of our "must haves" into the correct perspective don't you think?Jesus tried to warn us very clearly about getting caught in this web of compromise in our journey of faith, He also gave us a recipe for keeping our lives pure and our hearts clean......today I want to let the Word of God speak for itself.....let it also speak to you!
Matthew 6 : 21 ''FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO,v22 THE EYE IS THE LAMP OF THE BODY . IF YOUR EYES ARE GOOD, YOUR WHOLE BODY WILL BE FULL OF LIGHT, v23 BUT IF YOUR EYES ARE BAD, YOUR WHOLE BODY WILL BE FULL OF DARKNESS. IF THEN THE LIGHT WITHIN YOU IS DARKNESS , HOW GREAT IS THAT DARKNESS!v24. NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS. EITHER HE WILL HATE THE ONE & LOVE THE OTHER, OR HE WILL BE DEVOTED TO THE ONE & DESPISE THE OTHER.YOU CANNOT SERVE BOTH GOD & MONEY.''
Keep your eyes on JESUS and all the other trinkets of this world will be put into their eternal persective.

BEWARE OF GRIEVING THE HOLY SPIRIT
Recently I wrote a blog about allowing The Holy Spirit to have His way & say......and received some" interesting "anonymous comments.
Let me clarify again that The Holy Spirit does long for freedom of access into your life, mine and the beautiful bride of Jesus Christ ( the church). The sad truth is that He can be grieved and rejected in which case whilst He strives with all people to allow Him to do His best work in our lives , he will not robotically force us to co-operate with Him, nor compel us to respond to His promptings. It is our choice to respond to His convicting, stirrings, and directions! Be certain of the fact that The Holy Spirit can be grieved , the Word of God says so. Let me share with you some important verses of Scripture: from Ephesians 4:30-31"And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. v31' 'Get rid of all bitterness, rage , & anger , brawling and slander, along with every form of malice."Continuing on with chapter 5 from Ephesians , verses 15-18''Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, v16. making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.v17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. v.18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit."The Holy Spirit leads us ( if we allow ) to give glory to the Saviour Jesus and helps us to hear the voice of God & obey, there is nothing to be feared in this Holy relationship except if we ignore Him. Allowing the Holy Spirit access is like accepting Salvation ... it has been given freely to us , all we need to do is respond and receive.
If you are in The Salvation Army dear readers understand we have as our motto : BLOOD & FIRE, we are called to be washed in the cleansing blood of Jesus & filled with the Holy Spirit,thus I repeat beware of grieving the Holy Spirit.There are sad consequences if we do.

Revelation repeatedly tells us :''...HE WHO HAS AN EAR LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS TO THE CHURCHES."

POSTURING YOURSELF TO POSSESS FOR GOD'S KINGDOM
Today I want to give you some one liners to ponder:
1. Be willing to let go of the past defeats & victories.
2.Posture yourself to hear from God's Word.
3.Hear clearly & obey boldly.
4. Always allow for the God's miraculous intervention.
5.Be committed to make a decision to live & breathe God's PERFECT WILL in your life.
6. Disobedience & indecision will produce paralysis in your spirit.
7.On your knees determine the Holy Spirit's strategy for any & every circumstance.
8. Have a very strong resolve to give all glory to JESUS.
9. Dare to dream dreams in the supernatural realm.
10. Dare to do that which absolutely depends on Holy Spirit power ( not your own intelligence)
11.Don't shrink the Creator of Heaven & earth to how you feel or your own pain threshold.
12. Rather lift your pain & challenges up to a mighty Saviour.
13. Always be willing to receive "FRESH REVELATION".
14. Keep up to date with your personal spiritual testimony.
JOSHUA 3 ; 5 ''......CONSECRATE YOURSELVES, FOR TOMORROW THE LORD WILL DO AMAZING THINGS AMONG YOU."

ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HAVE HIS SAY ...BY MOVING OUT OF THE WAY
The largest distraction and hindrance to allowing freedom in the power of The Holy Spirit, is to keep responding with fleshly, human understanding to any given situation. Acts chapters 1 , 2 , 3 are all examples of what can occur when The Holy Spirit is given permission to do that which He desires. But when we take control ourselves , rely on yesterdays revelations , we then fall prey to a spiritual life attempting to be lived out with mere human wisdom and self focussed goals which just abouts amount to ZERO!If we indeed are called to be people led by The Holy Spirit ( and we are )then for Jesus' sake let us please move out of the way & listen to His voice , His Word , His desires for our lives, His perfect plan will bring spiritual outcomes and I for one want only to be where The Holy Spirit wants me to be in body , mind & spirit , how about you?
If you are struggling with the challenges of life , family , future direction then why not allow The Holy Spirit have His say in your life and respectfully move back out of the way, you will be surprised what He will whisper into your life that will bring fruitful ,productive , spiritual outcomes for you & the Kingdom of God ! Wouldn't that be refreshing if we all just listened to the voice of The Holy Spirit.....the message to many of the churches of Revelation was reinforced again & again .....''HE WHO HAS AN EAR LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS TO THE CHURCHES."Just then maybe there would be REVIVAL people coming to Jesus, Christians going into ministry,Church members tithing , forgiving , loving , committing like the Bible tells us to .
Can you catch the Vision? Please don't stay stuck on yourself .....I refuse to in my life .
