GLOBAL BOATS OF COMPLACENCY HAVE REALLY BEEN ROCKED

Events in Australia & globally are sadly shaking whatever boats of complacency we may have ever chosen to abide in.
There is a desperate need NOW more than ever to face a tragically desperate world with a loving SAVIOUR , our own commitment that is faithful , zealous , authentic and full of hope peace , and promise that with JESUS there will be SALVATION that can only come from His loving arms.
The church of Jesus must do, be ,more than mirroring the status quo......to a world that quite frankly has run out of it's own articulate , political , answers.World events, and local tragedy have shaken our comfortable maintenace mode and you & I are really needed to be authentically more concerned about a dying world than keeping our own comfortable Christianity floating along lake reservation. Please be activated into serious Discipleship, committed service , radical obedience to the call of a loving SAVIOUR ....THE PRINCE OF PEACE ....THE GREAT KING OF KINGS & LORD OF LORDS ....THE ONE WHO WAS & IS TO COME...and that my friends is seriously ABSOLUTE TRUTH! Isn't it tragic that we have now for so long tried so hard to not tread on anyone elses toes to the point of confusing political correctness with truth. The secular world has been preaching" blessed are the comfortable ", & now some of the church are responding with "comfortable are the blessed " . Well the events of the past few months have soundly "rocked" all of those thoughts & today I want to remind you that the only safe place in Australia , indeed in the world , is in the loving arms of JESUS CHRIST the ONE & ONLY LORD & SAVIOUR of the entire universe .
Stay focussed on Him & whatever happens globally you will be SAVED !

INDIFFERENCE & BLANDNESS ROB A WORLD OF CONVICTION

The effects of September 11,2001 , as indeed the effects of Australia's most serious natural disaster in history , that being the tragedy of lives lost in raging fires over these days bring to most people a deeper level of pain& grief than that of the immediate. If you were to see real passion in most "aussies" it would almost always come from the realm of sport,cricket & tennis in summer ....football in winter(generally speaking).However,in recent days it is evident that there is a stirring amongst us as a nation to realise that such terrible tragedy and loss of life causes us to really STOP, PRAY & ACT with love , with service , with conviction & committment to those numerous families & towns who have been brought to ground zero!I read a comment recently : "Until now , ours has been an age of blandness , our technology & machinery are disturbingly lively , and we as human beings are frighteningly inert."This quote was written by a philosopher called Donna Harraway. Whatever you may think about that comment , it seems to reasonate with many people , on a normal day, given normal circumstances . However, the terrible tragic events of recent days must shake our comfortable maintenance mentality ...the boat of any complacency in any aspect of our lives has been soundly rocked & we need to understand that we as Jesus' people are called to love , practically, spiritually & emotionally in order to support hurting , devastated , hopeless ,grieving communities. The Church that lifts up JESUS as`LORD & SAVIOUR can no longer afford to present a " business as usual " response to such tragedies occuring on a daily basis in Australia & in fact Globally. Crisis such as we view on our screens must create the death of blandness, apathy, mediocrity & maintenance mode . We like all of God's people need a revival of passionate , zealous , committment of love that not only talks about it , but actually lives like JESUS is coming back tomorrow , and loves all people as if they were members of our own family......Reading verses like 1 JOHN 3:16-18 ''THIS IS HOW WE KNOW WHAT LOVE IS ; JESUS CHRIST LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR US . AND WE OUGHT TO LAY DOWN OUR LIVES FOR OUR BROTHERS . v.17 IF ANYONE HAS MATERIAL POSSESSIONS & SEES HIS BROTHER IN NEED , BUT HAS NO PITY ON HIM/HER , HOW CAN THE LOVE OF GOD BE IN HIM? v. 18 DEAR CHILDREN , LET US NOT LOVE WITH WORDS OR TONGUE BUT WITH ACTIONS & IN TRUTH." The real need TODAY & every day to come is :how would JESUS respond ?, what can I do to be like JESUS in this moment , in these circumstances ?
Today if you call yourself a Christian then you & I must meet people with a zeal for our SAVIOUR ....JESUS that knows no boundaries , that is ignited and activated into action for surely it is urgently required for such a time as this!

WHEN JESUS COMES IN....EVERYTHING CHANGES

If you spend your days looking for something to break the boredom....please stop NOW & become part of the biggest opportunity of your life . Understand that JESUS calls you TODAY to live with PURPOSE ....PURITY....POWER .... PEACE....& so much more. God's sphere of influence for your life is so much bigger than you could ever think, it is not marked out by some tiny circle that is so small even you can't see it .....rather His plans are so amazing that you will be spending the rest of your life being ENERGISED , EXCITED , & ENTHUSIASTIC for the cause of JESUS CHRIST.This life demands much more than spare time , spare change , spare time ...........JESUS calls you to live for HIM & in so doing leaving a legacy of His love , His life , His power , His purpose flowing through you.
Please know that when you invite JESUS into your life He brings change for the BEST , not mediocrity or apathetic boredom .

CHAMPIONS FOR THE CAUSE OF JESUS

In recent days I have had some enforced time of reflection , prayer, and recreation. During this time there is one definate characteristic that sets champions apart ,that trait is :"an irrepressible , determined purposeful mind, & heart. When it comes to Champions for JESUS , this trait is also a greatly needed at this time in history , if ever the people of God needed passionate commitment and conviction of faith in JESUS , it is NOW! If you think of some heroes of the past , take for example Paul a man who was persecuted and ultimately was martyred for his conviction and commitment . Paul even when imprisoned gave to the world thirteen of the twenty seven books of the New Testament,this champion had such influence and impact upon a pagan , Godless time in history that we still have the rippling effect to this day, touching our lives with his unwavering obedience , purposeful commitment, conviction & amazing determined discipleship . And his reason : "PROMOTING THE CAUSE OF CHRIST".Today I leave with you :(Romans 15:19-21 The Message) ''I HAVE TRAILBLAZED A PREACHING OF THE MESSAGE OF JESUS ALL THE WAY FROM JERUSALEM FAR INTO NORTHWESTERN GREECE.THIS HAS ALL BEEN PIONEER WORK , BRINGING THE MESSAGE ONLY INTO THOSE PLACES WHERE JESUS WAS NOT YET KNOWN AND WORSHIPPED. MY TEXT HAS BEEN , 'THOSE WHO'VE NEVER HEARD OF JESUS........THEY WILL GET THE MESSAGE."
What a champion ! How about your zeal today is it worth following ? Just know that JESUS, THE HOLY SPIRIT & THE GREAT FATHER -HEART OF GOD are in the stands of your life cheering you on with the great , mighty crowds of witnesses.
