THE POWER OF JESUS IS PRESENT TO HEAL

Take time to reflect upon Luke 5:17-26 -The story of the healing of the paralytic. In verse 17b it is recorded as ...'the power of the Lord is present to heal......'I believe in our society that is a message that needs promotion . Jesus 'power is present to heal , there is so much brokenness & wounded spirits  that need to experience the healing touch of Jesus .The sad issue in the Luke account was that the 4 stretcher bearers could not get their paralysed friend to Jesus , basically because the Pharisees and religious leaders were blocking the doorway . Thank the Lord that they were determined to get their friend to Jesus and were not put off in any way . There are many people who are paralysed in body , mind and spirit , do you know some of them .             God is calling His people to be stretcher bearers for the Kingdom of God .   Please hear clearly and obey boldly when God's Spirit brings people's names and faces to you as you pray . Take time to reflect again upon this reading and ask Jesus how to bring these people to His feet .Praying for you as you obey .

WHAT KIND OF DISCIPLES ARE YOU PERSONALLY MAKING &WHAT KIND OF DISCIPLES IS YOUR CHURCH MAKING ? ... think about it

I often ask myself this question ( amongst many others). Every individual Christian and Christian community embodies a gospel ,the question is .. is it The Gospel that Jesus preached , lived & died for ?
When Jesus called / calls us to in Matthew 28:18-20 , highlighting verse 19 "Go therefore & make Disciples of all nations , baptizing them in the name of the Father & of the Son & of the Holy Spirit ,v.20 teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you ... "
He was commanding us to make in His name for His glory full Gospel disciples according to the true Lord Jesus.  
For Jesus, the Gospels reveal His definition of Discipleship : a person marked by Holiness , someone who is captivated by the Kingdom of God and passionate about seeing God's Kingdom
come to earth . Relentless love is a non-negotiable mark of all  authentic Disciples of Jesus Christ , radical , palpable passion for God ,  prayer , & integrity flow forth out of Disciples of Jesus .
Justice , mercy , compassion , lost for the unloved , rejected , and marginalised are conspicuous  by the very presence are a daily awareness that is ALWAYS producing fruit of obedience .
A servant's attitude is authentically present even when the said Disciple is often unexpected .

Transparent Disciples of Jesus die to themselves daily , hourly ( if required) and  give Jesus the throne of their lives .

So how goes your journey of Discipleship ??? Let Jesus show you His glory as you live for Him .

Want to claim the power of the Living Word JESUS and  the written Word ?Here is how this can be your testimony :
.Come with a pure heart , willing to submit and be cleansed by Jesus.
.Repent & renounce any sin that you are aware of in your life , relationships ,
behaviours , attitudes .
.Deal with idolatry, immorality, broken covenants, besetting sins through the cleansing BLOOD of Jesus.
.Hear clearly the promises of God & obey boldly .
.Passionately pursue God , His Holiness , His Holy Spirits' presence and power .
.Invite Jesus wholeheartedly to consume you with His Fire , Purity, Word ,Grace , Truth and Love
.Pray ... Pray ... The Word ....
.Believe  and claim the promises of God in any & every circumstance of life .
.Bring every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ...
. Allow The Holy Spirit to teach you the truth of God's Word

Hebrews 4 :12 ''For the Word that God speaks is alive & full of power - making it active , operative, energising and effective ; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life ( soul)and ( the immortal ) spirit, and of joints and marrow ( that is , of the deepest parts of our nature) exposing and sifting and analysing  and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart."      Amplified version

RADICAL OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WILL OR RADICAL REBELLION ?

I have been ministering recently with people who have either radically rejected God's will for their lives OR radically been obedient to the call of God .

There are consequences to both choices :
Radical Rebellion brings so much heartache not only for the person , but for those around them , marriages breakdown ,hurt comes , disappointment after disappointment occurs in their lives . Deception abounds and worst of all there is zero peace in their lives . For a New Testament example read Galatians 3:1-4 read it , allow  Jesus to speak to you through it . There is a very big price tag to not obeying the voice of the Lord.Also James 1:22.

Alternatively for those who relentlessly choose to listen to God's voice and out of  a heart of love for Him .... obey , life is completely different .
O ld Testament Joseph is a prime example of relentless obedience to God's perfect will in his life , and even though the enemy of our souls served up some fairly challenging "life circumstances" , Joseph scaled the wall of hardship and clung onto the promises of GOD .
Read Genesis 50:20 - Adversity even in obedience can bring great glory to JESUS .
So today which will you choose RADICAL OBEDIENCE from a heart of love OR RADICAL REBELLION ??
I am praying you will choose to  love JESUS with all your heart , all your mind , all your will .

WHICH JESUS ARE YOU PREACHING & WHAT GOSPEL ARE YOU STAKING YOUR LIFE ON ???

Witnessing to the saving power of Jesus at the recent Melbourne Body Mind Spirit Festival I was reminded that there are many who say : ' Oh Yes I believe in Jesus ... " on further investigation it was revealed that they believed in the Prophet Jesus or the Good Teacher Jesus or the Kind man Jesus , but when pressed to affirm the True Lord Jesus belief , i.e King of Kings & Lord of Lords ... as the Bible states or the The Way - The Truth - The Life Jesus ... there was often a fast back peddle . Similarly when a presentation of The Gospel was given , there would often be a rejection of the exclusivity yet all embracing GOSPEL as presented in the Gospels .... So my question to readers TODAY is simple : What JESUS do you believe in , trust in pray to & which Gospel are you proclaiming ?????
2Timothy talks about godlessness in LAST DAYS .. read 2 Tim 3 : 1-5 , Matthew 24 talks about .. ' The love of MOST ( the committed ) growing COLD ... " check it out . The only TRUE LORD JESUS is the Jesus that saves 'TO THE UTTERMOST ..."
If they don't match ALL that JESUS said of Himself & if the Gospel you preach doesn't match the New Testament Good News as Jesus and the First Disciples preached then can I suggest you have a problem ... secondly please get a revelation of The TRUE LORD JESUS CHRIST .. THE ONLY SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD . "There is no other name under heaven by which men & women can be saved .... except by the name  of JESUS ".

Matthew 6:5-18 Jesus calls us in this Chapter to GIVE .&.. PRAY ... PRAY & FAST ... PRAY & FORGIVE .
Read the text there is an emphasis from Jesus'  own lips .. 'When you  GIVE' , 'When you PRAY ' ... 'When you  PRAY & FAST ' .. " When you FORGIVE' .
Australia needs Holy Spirit , Blood bought , REVIVAL . The challenge that is upon His Bride , ( the CHURCH ) is are we willing and prepared to PRAY  THE PRICE OF REVIVAL ?

Any revival throughout  history  has been preceded  and carried on the wings of those who are PRAYER WARRIORS ... people who will not let God's Spirit leave unless He blesses .

Today let The Holy Spirit REVIVE you personally ...and see what He will REVIVE through you as you are humbled - filled and renewed with  Holy Passion for the World .

PROPHETIC FRESH REVELATION AWAITING YOU

If ever there was a time for the people of God to hear from God's heart ... IT IS NOW !
I believe in this season of history God is going to bring ' FRESH REVELATION' to those who are hungry for God , His Word , His Holy Spirit and so much more .
Spiritual truths we thought we knew and understood will be given to us with FRESH VISION ... FRESH EYES ...FRESH REVELATION , if we really want to receive .

I am asking my readers to pray expecting JESUS Himself to reveal amazing truths from His Word ... new aspects of God's heart that have been there all along . And once having received fresh illumination then God will require you to act upon that which He is revealing .

In this process be willing to let GO of some things & to EMBRACE & step into other areas. It will be vital to go exactly where The Holy Spirit is leading and to proclaim that which God Himself is revealing to you .
To speak - pray - witness to whomever , wherever , & however God ordains that you do .
This revelation will not be given to those who see obedience as an option  to be perhaps played with ,rather to those who are relentless with that which is born of God & His Holy Spirit .
I believe we are NOW in a season where God is renewing our FIRST LOVE FOR HIMSELF .  ( Rev .  2 :2-7) .
Ministry and Discipleship must be accomplished from the place of our FIRST LOVE FOR JESUS , and it is in this place we will by God's scandalous grace receive 'Fresh Revelation ' in order to build The Kingdom of God in our midst .

Praying for all readers today ...... Please consider this Scripture : Revelation 1:10 " I  WAS IN THE SPIRIT ON THE LORD'S DAY , &  I HEARD .... ..."
What exactly are you hearing from The Holy Spirit ?

NO MORE EXCUSES ... MAKE JESUS YOUR PRIORITY IN 2013

Ephesians 5:16-17 tells us 'Make the best use of time because the days are evil . Therefore do not be foolish , but understand what the will of the Lord is .'
It is time at the start of a NEW YEAR to STOP settling for ' same old ... same old'. In His grace Jesus has given us each another day , month , year ( please Lord) to honour Him , His Kingdom , His priorities . Let us all STOP any behaviours , thought patterns , activities  that would hinder God's perfect will in our lives in 2013 .
Give Jesus permission to put the searchlight of His Holy Spirit into your life and shed light on ANYTHING that will be unhelpful to you and His glory , 'Search me oh God ... know my heart ... see if there be any wicked way in me ....'.
What lies on the other side of our choices in favour of God's Kingdom is the sweet taste of LOVE .. JOY .. PEACE .. POWER ... OBEDIENCE ... FAVOUR & so much more .
Come on dear friends may WE stop making excuses and authentically  live for our Saviour & King ... LORD JESUS ,every day ... every way . I am praying for you as you step out in faith to honour and serve JESUS in 2013 ... please pray for me and let us celebrate the many victories that will be won in His name .
Be excited , be expectant , be scintillating with spiritual fervour .. because JESUS will do amazing things in and through you in the coming days .

As we very quickly approach the celebration of our Lord and Saviour's birth take every moment to bring JESUS into the conversation .Recently I sat on a plane with two self- confessed satanists and we had in the  3 hour journey quite a conversation .
They with their tee-shirts boldly proclaiming 'gospel of blasphemy ( Jesus)', reading their copies of the latest Richard Dawkins book , me with my CROSS , The Word and a book on Spiritual Warfare .( can you see the scenario ).
As you may imagine it was quite an opportunity , one I embraced with vigour .
Needless to say at the end of the journey I prayed that they both would receive  a personal revelation of the True Lord Jesus .
This Christmas as people give fly away comments or expressions of Christmas greetings please have faith and courage to bring JESUS into every conversation , for we know HE IS THE ONLY & ABSOLUTE REASON FOR EVERY SEASON , others however , do not know about HIS LOVE , HIS GRACE ... HIS HEALING & FORGIVENESS .

Don't let this season slip  by you without a solid , witness to the SAVING POWER OF JESUS .Proclaim Him today ... proclaim Him every day .
Jesus was born to set His people FREE ... be FREEDOM proclaimers in His

TOO PROUD TO PRAY ... TOO PROUD TO ADMIT WE NEED A SAVIOUR ????

Taking a hunger for JESUS, His Word , Prayer  has resulted in alot of issues .There was a time when a person's word was their bond , when corruption  was the exception, when children were taught Godliness as  the standard for life , when marriages were maintained  with love , faithfulness & ongoing committment , a time when people were faithful in worship , giving , witness and love .

Those days are gone in this time in history ... what will it take to stop the downward spiral and rebuild our nation to live as JESUS asks us to , to honour biblical marriage , to honour one another , to honour Godly holiness ???
We are in desperate need of REVIVAL .. Holy Spirit , Blood Bought , Cleansing , JESUS REVIVAL !!
If we as a nation still have as default position ; 'We don't need to pray , we don't need  The Saviour .'.... then we also need to REPENT .
Today please stop , listen to the voice of a loving SAVIOUR , His name JESUS , who 'came to seek & save that which is LOST ' , that is you and I . Without His saving love , forgiveness , grace & mercy our  private  worlds  are HOPELESS , without JESUS ' saving power our global world is dead ! Pray & seek JESUS today tand see RENEWAL in your own life  & lives that surround you .

Dear Friends,
Earlier this week I posted  a question  on facebook: If you could ask JESUS one question , what would it be ?
There have been many responses to this simple but profound question , some have vented , others have bared their deep heart and soul , whilst others have just enjoyed thinking about the endless possibilities .

Perhaps my readers could think about their "one'' question and look at it from Jesus' perspective . I actually think Jesus might have a few questions to ask all of us and indeed He does definitely ask me many questions   ( daily)faith , life , committment plus ... plus ... plus..
I would invite your responses and honestly I want you to know today that Jesus dearly loves you with an undying LOVE .... wherever you are in your journey of life  & no matter what your questions are ... JESUS will ALWAYS be your palpable ANSWER .

'Jesus Is THE WAY ( if  you are lost ) , He is The Truth ... ( in a world of deception ) & He is THE LIFE ( when all around is decaying).
Colossians 1: 15 -17
''We look at this SON & see the God who cannot be seen . We look at this SON & see God's original purpose in everything created .For everything ,

..ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING , above & below , visible & invisible , rank after rank after rank of angels -- EVERYTHING got started in HIM & finds its' purpose in HIM....."

CONVERSATIONS THAT ETERNALLY COUNT

In a world where meaningless , trivial conversations easily invade our minds how do you go with saying things that will change someones' eternal destiny??
I listen to people alot and I have to admit that sometimes I feel really grieved as I hear words that wound and create a culture of spiritual / emotional death .
I have had to REPENT myself of using words that have not helped others , that have not reflected the love of JESUS ... how about you ?
Proverbs 18:21 states "DEATH & LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE, & THEY WHO INDULGE IT SHALL EAT THE FRUIT OF IT ( for DEATH   or LIFE) . See also Matthew 12 :37 'FOR BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE JUSTIFIED & ACQUITTED  & BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE CONDEMNED & SENTENCED ." It may be worth knowing JESUS said this last verse .
How goes your words in emails  ... on facebook ... in letters .... in private ...in boardrooms, in public ????
Would you be proud of what you communicate or not ... would you speak those same words in front of children , leaders , colleagues , authorities ?

Today I am asking us all to allow The Holy Spirit  to wash us clean of profanity , slander , criticism and destructive words that wound and hurt .
Start with me JESUS ... and bless my readers with your same heart .

LOWEST COMMON LEVEL OF COMMITMENT TO JESUS MUST BE REPENTED OF

Friends I have just returned from a trip to the USA , and whilst in that land The Holy Spirit spoke very clearly to me about THE CHURCH in Australia .
I was at some Christian Conferences whilst I was in Us and in one of the sessions there was a question / answer time , basically one of the delegates framed his question along the lines of " What can I do as the barest minimum for Christ and still be a Christian , to be honest I was horrified with the question and really had to ask Jesus to stop me from judging the individual ( which of course would have revealed my own carnality ) , however , The Spirit of God spoke thunderously to me through that comment and I share with you now basically what He said : "Don't be shocked by this question .... this is where  the CHURCH at large in Australia ( all denominations ) is also dwelling  ...... basically       ' what is the minimum expression of faith that we can give and still call ourselves Christians ?'        I was shocked , grieved and asked The Spirit of Jesus to confirm what I thought I had heard again , tragically He did over the three weeks that I was in The States , through His people , His Word , and in my time spent purely with Him .

Readers we have a spiritual problem in Australia ... both within the Church & without   & Jesus is calling His people to radical REPENTANCE .... from leadership down . 
Our land is full of IDOLS ... we have a form of Godliness but deny the POWER ..( 2 TIMOTHY 3). we have unleashed an unclean spirit across the Land ( sexual stains are rampart REVELATION 2 :18-29) , we have forsaken sacrificial prayer / Word centred preaching and in short GOD will continue to give us over to the lustful desires of our hearts & minds IF we the CHURCH do not stand in the GAP & fully REPENT  on behalf of the Nation .


How did this happen ? I believe Matthew 24 has some of the answer , verse 12 '' BECAUSE OF THE INCREASE OF WICKEDNESS , THE LOVE OF MOST ( referring here to the christians ) WILL GROW COLD ". Also I believe that 2 Timothy 3:1-7 also gives us a hint as to our demise " BUT UNDERSTAND THIS THAT IN THE LAST DAYS ... PEOPLE WILL BE LOVERS OF PLEASURE RATHER THAN LOVERS OF GOD , HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS ....... BUT DENYING ITS POWER ... ALWAYS LEARNING BUT  NEVER ABLE TO ARRIVE AT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH "

Basically I believe we the church has been seduced into this complacent state in the following ways : Loving pleasure ( making it an idol) rather than honouring God ....Settling for a form of God but denying His Holy Spirit Power ...... always hearing His Word BUT   not obeying . Caring more about our REPUTATION than Jesus ' Holiness .
True radical Discipleship is COUNTER CULTURAL & we  are fitting in far too well with our culture , similarly we are more content to please man and not God .

My prayer is Jesus " FORGIVE US .... SAVE US ... CLEANSE US WITH YOUR BLOOD ... DO NOT TAKE OUR CANDLESTICK AWAY   FROM US '' ,"    create in us a clean heart oh God , take not your Holy Spirit from us , return us to the Joy of your Salvation " , excerpts from PSALM 51 ...... PLEASE TODAY JOIN ME IN PRAYING THIS PSALM OF REPENTENCE for Jesus' sake ... for Australia's sake .

GRACE   &TRUTH to you today in His name !

OFFENSES WILL COME ...JESUS SAID IT !

What do you do , how do you react or respond when offenses come your way or even more than that when they are explicitly hurled in your face ?????

 A culture of OFFENSE will reveal ALOT about who you are & maybe  who you ARE NOT in JESUS , think about it .            It isn't the kick that creates the content it merely reveals what is inside , that line for me is very challenging , because there have been many times I have received a "kick" and have not  responded with the Grace & Truth that Jesus calls me to , how about you ????
An ungracious culture often repels anyone looking from outside , it is smelled , felt and caught by osmosis . The more influence you have the more you will define CULTURE , a little like the cities infect  and affect  for better or worse   the surrounding suburbs and regional towns.

Be aware that you ( if in any leader capacity) are being watched , and your finest hours maybe when offenses come your way ... for it is in those moments you and I will reveal WHO we really are , and how well we display the fruit of God's Holy Spirit ( Galatians 5 .... read it again today ).

JESUS gave us the message that offenses WILL come not IF .... so gird your spiritual & emotional loins, keep dying to your carnal nature and ( in love ) keep getting over YOURSELF.   Ask JESUS for His scandalous grace for any and every moment of your day .

READ MATTHEW 5 : 38-48  The MESSAGE IS GREAT .

BE THE VOICE FOR JESUS

Christians that obey .+.. act .+.. GROW . Churches that obey Jesus' call .+.. act ..+.. GROW.Anyone who has done things  to change the World did them when nobody thought it was  the right time , when the advice was to wait for better conditions. BUT these Spirit directed people acted and changed the conditions ... when God said , not man .

This is how REVIVAL starts - someone ... some humble , passionate person says I have prayed .. waited ... prayed .. & waited & now I am ACTING ON PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL !!!!

Today Jesus Himself calls you to act as His Holy Spirit empowers you , stop waiting ... stop procrastinating ... JESUS has said it ... now by His grace HEAR CLEARLY & OBEY BOLDLY .

READ TODAY JESUS' WORDS : JOHN 1:23 ''He said :'I am The Voice of one crying in the wilderness :''Make straight the way of The Lord," as the prophet Isaiah said ."

FAITH THAT REFUSES TO BE TESTED ..WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT IN TRUST

With Easter just a breathe away & still the orthodox celebrations to come remember what it took JESUS physically , emotionally & spiritually to claim your SALVATION.

.HAVE SOME COURAGE TO MATCH YOUR CONVICTION .
.DENY YOURSELF ... JESUS DID & IN THAT WAS VICTORY.
.UNDERSTAND THIS IS SPIRITUAL WAR ...NOT COUNTRY -CLUB CHRISTIANITY.
.STOP LEADING FROM  A SELF PERPETUATING WOUNDED SPIRIT ..... LEAD FROM A SURRENDERED HEART.

A REFLECTION FOR JESUS ...THE CRUCIFIED ONE, FOR YOU AND I

Truth & glory can only be found in the CROSS & BLOOD of JESUS, it is in the crucified Christ that we see you God , the One who suffers with His people .
It is the CROSS & your BLOOD  which shows us that there is nothing you will not face , will not endure at the hands of your own people.BUT
JESUS on the Cross & His shed BLOOD reveals not only you: but also we see ourselves for what we really are .
JUDAS: for whom money is more important than any relationship , perhaps the zealot who hopes to force Jesus' hand and manipulate Him into supporting his own theology.

CAIAPHAS :with his impeccable political & ecclesiastical logic that it is better for one man to die for the people.

PILATE: a victim of circumstance- on the opposite side of the debate to Caiaphas
but playing the same rules ; SOMEONE'S HEAD MUST ROLL...IF NOT THAT OF JESUS , IT WILL BE HIS OWN .

PETER: with his inappropriate self-confidence.

THE CROWD : in it's mindless thirst for blood.

THE CENTURION: who admired from a distance .

THE DISCIPLES : who ran away .

God of JESUS , we are all there , we are all part of JESUS' PASSION , there is  apart in all of us which still says that the safest response to a surprising God is to remove you from our lives , whilst we have a chance .
To get rid of you so we can have the security of our preferred politics, cosy religion, positions of power.

JESUS , help us to face the truth that our sin is more complicated , more insidious, more devastating than we ever could believe.And however, we or the world minimises this sin ...IT TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD TO SAVE US !!!!!

Your GRACE ... your BLOOD... your CROSS ....your LOVE .... your PASSION for us to be RESCUED & SAVED is far more superior than any of our sad & pathetic excuses.

CHRISTIANS HAVE WHAT THE WORLD WANTS

If today you are in a committed relationship with Jesus Christ you have the absolute answer to this worlds' cries for help .
Why is it that we retell movies , retell television series , retell rumours, retell the latest injustices in our communities and NOT retell the liberating Gospel Story that 'JESUS SAVES'?
People of God we are meant to be engaged in the all time RESCUE MISSION ..... A MISSION THAT LIFTS PEOPLE FROM DARKNESS INTO LIGHT , this is our delight , our responsibility & our command from JESUS .
There is NOTHING more important in your life than this ......... 'JESUS SAVES ME & HE CAN SAVE YOU', that Uncle, Aunty, Grandfather , Mother , daughter, neighbour , work colleague , "JESUS SAVES " this is your call & mine to tell the world that He ( Jesus ) can rewrite their stories of  brokenness , or self-sufficiency or bitterness , or lonliness  or (you fill the blank). Please today for a drowning world's sake LISTEN to the stories of 'LOSTNESS' and respond with the only authentic tangible answer that you can give anyone & everyone that will RESCUE them from themselves . Sometimes many people don't even know that they are drowning , but if you really listen & hear their story you can respond with GRACE ... LOVE & TRUTH , Jesus of course is all of that and more . Can I hear some of your stories as you share the GOSPEL OF SALVATION & FULLNESS through the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
If you are rescued through the blood of JESUS ...... you are NOW in the place of RESCUING OTHERS .
Jesus said it , I believe it , & actually for me that really settles it .People who as yet are "pre-rescued'', are often afraid to  COME & so we must GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matthew 28:18-20 '' AND JESUS CAME & SAID TO THEM , ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN & ON EARTH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME. v.19.
