THE GRACE OF JESUS ... THE TRUTH OF JESUS ... THE LOVE OF JESUS
As we very quickly approach the celebration of our Lord and Saviour's birth take every moment to bring JESUS into the conversation .Recently I sat on a plane with two self- confessed satanists and we had in the 3 hour journey quite a conversation .
They with their tee-shirts boldly proclaiming 'gospel of blasphemy ( Jesus)', reading their copies of the latest Richard Dawkins book , me with my CROSS , The Word and a book on Spiritual Warfare .( can you see the scenario ).
As you may imagine it was quite an opportunity , one I embraced with vigour .
Needless to say at the end of the journey I prayed that they both would receive a personal revelation of the True Lord Jesus .
This Christmas as people give fly away comments or expressions of Christmas greetings please have faith and courage to bring JESUS into every conversation , for we know HE IS THE ONLY & ABSOLUTE REASON FOR EVERY SEASON , others however , do not know about HIS LOVE , HIS GRACE ... HIS HEALING & FORGIVENESS .
Don't let this season slip by you without a solid , witness to the SAVING POWER OF JESUS .Proclaim Him today ... proclaim Him every day .
Jesus was born to set His people FREE ... be FREEDOM proclaimers in His
love .

TOO PROUD TO PRAY ... TOO PROUD TO ADMIT WE NEED A SAVIOUR ????
Taking a hunger for JESUS, His Word , Prayer has resulted in alot of issues .There was a time when a person's word was their bond , when corruption was the exception, when children were taught Godliness as the standard for life , when marriages were maintained with love , faithfulness & ongoing committment , a time when people were faithful in worship , giving , witness and love .
Those days are gone in this time in history ... what will it take to stop the downward spiral and rebuild our nation to live as JESUS asks us to , to honour biblical marriage , to honour one another , to honour Godly holiness ???
We are in desperate need of REVIVAL .. Holy Spirit , Blood Bought , Cleansing , JESUS REVIVAL !!
If we as a nation still have as default position ; 'We don't need to pray , we don't need The Saviour .'.... then we also need to REPENT .
Today please stop , listen to the voice of a loving SAVIOUR , His name JESUS , who 'came to seek & save that which is LOST ' , that is you and I . Without His saving love , forgiveness , grace & mercy our private worlds are HOPELESS , without JESUS ' saving power our global world is dead ! Pray & seek JESUS today tand see RENEWAL in your own life & lives that surround you .

IF YOU COULD ASK JESUS ONE QUESTION WHT WOULD IT BE ??
Dear Friends,
Earlier this week I posted a question on facebook: If you could ask JESUS one question , what would it be ?
There have been many responses to this simple but profound question , some have vented , others have bared their deep heart and soul , whilst others have just enjoyed thinking about the endless possibilities .
Perhaps my readers could think about their "one'' question and look at it from Jesus' perspective . I actually think Jesus might have a few questions to ask all of us and indeed He does definitely ask me many questions ( daily)faith , life , committment plus ... plus ... plus..
I would invite your responses and honestly I want you to know today that Jesus dearly loves you with an undying LOVE .... wherever you are in your journey of life & no matter what your questions are ... JESUS will ALWAYS be your palpable ANSWER .
'Jesus Is THE WAY ( if you are lost ) , He is The Truth ... ( in a world of deception ) & He is THE LIFE ( when all around is decaying).

CONVERSATIONS THAT ETERNALLY COUNT
In a world where meaningless , trivial conversations easily invade our minds how do you go with saying things that will change someones' eternal destiny??
I listen to people alot and I have to admit that sometimes I feel really grieved as I hear words that wound and create a culture of spiritual / emotional death .
I have had to REPENT myself of using words that have not helped others , that have not reflected the love of JESUS ... how about you ?
Proverbs 18:21 states "DEATH & LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE, & THEY WHO INDULGE IT SHALL EAT THE FRUIT OF IT ( for DEATH or LIFE) . See also Matthew 12 :37 'FOR BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE JUSTIFIED & ACQUITTED & BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE CONDEMNED & SENTENCED ." It may be worth knowing JESUS said this last verse .
How goes your words in emails ... on facebook ... in letters .... in private ...in boardrooms, in public ????
Would you be proud of what you communicate or not ... would you speak those same words in front of children , leaders , colleagues , authorities ?
Today I am asking us all to allow The Holy Spirit to wash us clean of profanity , slander , criticism and destructive words that wound and hurt .
Start with me JESUS ... and bless my readers with your same heart .

LOWEST COMMON LEVEL OF COMMITMENT TO JESUS MUST BE REPENTED OF
Friends I have just returned from a trip to the USA , and whilst in that land The Holy Spirit spoke very clearly to me about THE CHURCH in Australia .
I was at some Christian Conferences whilst I was in Us and in one of the sessions there was a question / answer time , basically one of the delegates framed his question along the lines of " What can I do as the barest minimum for Christ and still be a Christian , to be honest I was horrified with the question and really had to ask Jesus to stop me from judging the individual ( which of course would have revealed my own carnality ) , however , The Spirit of God spoke thunderously to me through that comment and I share with you now basically what He said : "Don't be shocked by this question .... this is where the CHURCH at large in Australia ( all denominations ) is also dwelling ...... basically ' what is the minimum expression of faith that we can give and still call ourselves Christians ?' I was shocked , grieved and asked The Spirit of Jesus to confirm what I thought I had heard again , tragically He did over the three weeks that I was in The States , through His people , His Word , and in my time spent purely with Him .
Readers we have a spiritual problem in Australia ... both within the Church & without & Jesus is calling His people to radical REPENTANCE .... from leadership down .
Our land is full of IDOLS ... we have a form of Godliness but deny the POWER ..( 2 TIMOTHY 3). we have unleashed an unclean spirit across the Land ( sexual stains are rampart REVELATION 2 :18-29) , we have forsaken sacrificial prayer / Word centred preaching and in short GOD will continue to give us over to the lustful desires of our hearts & minds IF we the CHURCH do not stand in the GAP & fully REPENT on behalf of the Nation .
How did this happen ? I believe Matthew 24 has some of the answer , verse 12 '' BECAUSE OF THE INCREASE OF WICKEDNESS , THE LOVE OF MOST ( referring here to the christians ) WILL GROW COLD ". Also I believe that 2 Timothy 3:1-7 also gives us a hint as to our demise " BUT UNDERSTAND THIS THAT IN THE LAST DAYS ... PEOPLE WILL BE LOVERS OF PLEASURE RATHER THAN LOVERS OF GOD , HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS ....... BUT DENYING ITS POWER ... ALWAYS LEARNING BUT NEVER ABLE TO ARRIVE AT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH "
Basically I believe we the church has been seduced into this complacent state in the following ways : Loving pleasure ( making it an idol) rather than honouring God ....Settling for a form of God but denying His Holy Spirit Power ...... always hearing His Word BUT not obeying . Caring more about our REPUTATION than Jesus ' Holiness .
True radical Discipleship is COUNTER CULTURAL & we are fitting in far too well with our culture , similarly we are more content to please man and not God .
My prayer is Jesus " FORGIVE US .... SAVE US ... CLEANSE US WITH YOUR BLOOD ... DO NOT TAKE OUR CANDLESTICK AWAY FROM US '' ," create in us a clean heart oh God , take not your Holy Spirit from us , return us to the Joy of your Salvation " , excerpts from PSALM 51 ...... PLEASE TODAY JOIN ME IN PRAYING THIS PSALM OF REPENTENCE for Jesus' sake ... for Australia's sake .

OFFENSES WILL COME ...JESUS SAID IT !

What do you do , how do you react or respond when offenses come your way or even more than that when they are explicitly hurled in your face ?????
A culture of OFFENSE will reveal ALOT about who you are & maybe who you ARE NOT in JESUS , think about it . It isn't the kick that creates the content it merely reveals what is inside , that line for me is very challenging , because there have been many times I have received a "kick" and have not responded with the Grace & Truth that Jesus calls me to , how about you ????
An ungracious culture often repels anyone looking from outside , it is smelled , felt and caught by osmosis . The more influence you have the more you will define CULTURE , a little like the cities infect and affect for better or worse the surrounding suburbs and regional towns.
Be aware that you ( if in any leader capacity) are being watched , and your finest hours maybe when offenses come your way ... for it is in those moments you and I will reveal WHO we really are , and how well we display the fruit of God's Holy Spirit ( Galatians 5 .... read it again today ).
JESUS gave us the message that offenses WILL come not IF .... so gird your spiritual & emotional loins, keep dying to your carnal nature and ( in love ) keep getting over YOURSELF. Ask JESUS for His scandalous grace for any and every moment of your day .
READ MATTHEW 5 : 38-48 The MESSAGE IS GREAT .

BE THE VOICE FOR JESUS
Christians that obey .+.. act .+.. GROW . Churches that obey Jesus' call .+.. act ..+.. GROW.Anyone who has done things to change the World did them when nobody thought it was the right time , when the advice was to wait for better conditions. BUT these Spirit directed people acted and changed the conditions ... when God said , not man .
This is how REVIVAL starts - someone ... some humble , passionate person says I have prayed .. waited ... prayed .. & waited & now I am ACTING ON PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL !!!!
Today Jesus Himself calls you to act as His Holy Spirit empowers you , stop waiting ... stop procrastinating ... JESUS has said it ... now by His grace HEAR CLEARLY & OBEY BOLDLY .
Praying for all my readers today that you may hear God's Word to you .... very specifically .

A REFLECTION FOR JESUS ...THE CRUCIFIED ONE, FOR YOU AND I
Truth & glory can only be found in the CROSS & BLOOD of JESUS, it is in the crucified Christ that we see you God , the One who suffers with His people .
It is the CROSS & your BLOOD which shows us that there is nothing you will not face , will not endure at the hands of your own people.BUT
JESUS on the Cross & His shed BLOOD reveals not only you: but also we see ourselves for what we really are .
JUDAS: for whom money is more important than any relationship , perhaps the zealot who hopes to force Jesus' hand and manipulate Him into supporting his own theology.
CAIAPHAS :with his impeccable political & ecclesiastical logic that it is better for one man to die for the people.
PILATE: a victim of circumstance- on the opposite side of the debate to Caiaphas
but playing the same rules ; SOMEONE'S HEAD MUST ROLL...IF NOT THAT OF JESUS , IT WILL BE HIS OWN .
PETER: with his inappropriate self-confidence.
THE CROWD : in it's mindless thirst for blood.
THE CENTURION: who admired from a distance .
THE DISCIPLES : who ran away .
God of JESUS , we are all there , we are all part of JESUS' PASSION , there is apart in all of us which still says that the safest response to a surprising God is to remove you from our lives , whilst we have a chance .
To get rid of you so we can have the security of our preferred politics, cosy religion, positions of power.
JESUS , help us to face the truth that our sin is more complicated , more insidious, more devastating than we ever could believe.And however, we or the world minimises this sin ...IT TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD TO SAVE US !!!!!
Your GRACE ... your BLOOD... your CROSS ....your LOVE .... your PASSION for us to be RESCUED & SAVED is far more superior than any of our sad & pathetic excuses.

It is the CROSS & your BLOOD which shows us that there is nothing you will not face , will not endure at the hands of your own people.BUT
JESUS on the Cross & His shed BLOOD reveals not only you: but also we see ourselves for what we really are .
JUDAS: for whom money is more important than any relationship , perhaps the zealot who hopes to force Jesus' hand and manipulate Him into supporting his own theology.
CAIAPHAS :with his impeccable political & ecclesiastical logic that it is better for one man to die for the people.
PILATE: a victim of circumstance- on the opposite side of the debate to Caiaphas
but playing the same rules ; SOMEONE'S HEAD MUST ROLL...IF NOT THAT OF JESUS , IT WILL BE HIS OWN .
PETER: with his inappropriate self-confidence.
THE CROWD : in it's mindless thirst for blood.
THE CENTURION: who admired from a distance .
THE DISCIPLES : who ran away .
God of JESUS , we are all there , we are all part of JESUS' PASSION , there is apart in all of us which still says that the safest response to a surprising God is to remove you from our lives , whilst we have a chance .
To get rid of you so we can have the security of our preferred politics, cosy religion, positions of power.
JESUS , help us to face the truth that our sin is more complicated , more insidious, more devastating than we ever could believe.And however, we or the world minimises this sin ...IT TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD TO SAVE US !!!!!

CHRISTIANS HAVE WHAT THE WORLD WANTS
If today you are in a committed relationship with Jesus Christ you have the absolute answer to this worlds' cries for help .
Why is it that we retell movies , retell television series , retell rumours, retell the latest injustices in our communities and NOT retell the liberating Gospel Story that 'JESUS SAVES'?
People of God we are meant to be engaged in the all time RESCUE MISSION ..... A MISSION THAT LIFTS PEOPLE FROM DARKNESS INTO LIGHT , this is our delight , our responsibility & our command from JESUS .
There is NOTHING more important in your life than this ......... 'JESUS SAVES ME & HE CAN SAVE YOU', that Uncle, Aunty, Grandfather , Mother , daughter, neighbour , work colleague , "JESUS SAVES " this is your call & mine to tell the world that He ( Jesus ) can rewrite their stories of brokenness , or self-sufficiency or bitterness , or lonliness or (you fill the blank). Please today for a drowning world's sake LISTEN to the stories of 'LOSTNESS' and respond with the only authentic tangible answer that you can give anyone & everyone that will RESCUE them from themselves . Sometimes many people don't even know that they are drowning , but if you really listen & hear their story you can respond with GRACE ... LOVE & TRUTH , Jesus of course is all of that and more . Can I hear some of your stories as you share the GOSPEL OF SALVATION & FULLNESS through the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
If you are rescued through the blood of JESUS ...... you are NOW in the place of RESCUING OTHERS .
Jesus said it , I believe it , & actually for me that really settles it .People who as yet are "pre-rescued'', are often afraid to COME & so we must GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matthew 28:18-20 '' AND JESUS CAME & SAID TO THEM , ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN & ON EARTH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME. v.19. GO THEREFORE & MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS , BAPTISING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER & OF THE SON & OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, V.20 TEACHING THEM TO OBEY ALL THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU . AND BEHOLD , I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, TO THE END OF THE AGE ."

SPEAK AND LIVE URGENTLY WITH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST AS IF YOUR RECEIVERS WERE DYING .
Recently I was in for a brief visit to hospital and again I was reminded of the fragility of our lives ( in every aspect). Actually the reality was that in the rooms close to me ( every side ) there was a patient dying daily.
We presume so much in our journey called "life" , we presume we will fall in love , have children , grandchildren , experience a successful career , have ongoing eternal great health. We presume that if we just merely 'do the best we can ' then hopefully God ( in our own thinking ) might take pity and maybe allow us to spend eternity in heaven .
The reality is that we are promised none of those things that I listed above , if you are experiencing these great aspects to your life that is wonderful , BUT know that only a relationship with JESUS will alone bring SALVATION this side of ETERNITY & the next . ACTS 4:12 (reminds us) 'SALVATION IS FOUND IN NO-ONE ELSE, FOR THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN TO MEN BY WHICH WE MUST BE SAVED."
Today ask JESUS to come and reside in your life , and if you already know HIM , reignite your passion , that He may be truely LORD over every aspect of your journey of faith .
